Submit Whole Grains Challenge
Is your restaurant or cafeteria answering with a resounding YES when consumers Just Ask for Whole Grains? Then enter the Whole Grains Challenge.
To qualify, foodservice operations must offer at least one whole grain choice on the menu every day during the month of September, 2008. Any serving of food containing at least 8 grams of whole grain ingredients counts. Click here to see examples of what qualifies as a whole grain choice.
Complete the form below. In the COMMENTS section at the end, you can tell us about any ways you specially promote whole grains, beyond simply offering them on the menu. Your promotional efforts may be the tie-breaker that catapults you into first place!
Our award winners in each of ten categories (see below)...
• will be featured prominently in national publicity
• will be listed on the Restaurant Pages of the WGC website
• will receive free samples of whole grains, to expand your repertoire
• will receive a free restaurant membership in the WGC for the rest of 2008 and all of 2009
